📢 Important information – Construction work near the cottage

Dear future tenants of the Queen of Hungary's Cottage ,

The City of Soignies informs us of roadworks being carried out on Rue Reine de Hongrie (in Neufvilles), near the gîte.

🛠 Nature of the work

Complete road resurfacing between Chemin des Errauves and the Infrabel bridge, including renovation of the bridge surface and its surroundings.

📅 Construction period

Start date: April 7, 2026
Estimated duration: ± 35 working days (excluding weekends and inclement weather)

🚗 Impact on access

• A detour will be in place for the entire duration of the construction work.
• Access to homes is maintained, but local traffic is modified (cul-de-sac).

🙏 What this means for your stay

These works may cause some inconvenience (altered traffic, occasional noise), but access to the gîte remains possible.

We are of course available to answer any questions you may have and will do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant stay 😊

I tested it in "trail" mode. It allows you to discover our countryside with very open panoramas. A good breath of fresh air guaranteed.
